Debra is an elementary school teacher who happened to fall into the position of being a substitute computer teacher. Not having more than personal experience with email and general web browsing, Debra spent time learning everything she could and has become passionate about integrating technology in engaging, authentic ways. Debra loves planning and brainstorming with teachers about ways students can create meaningful, useful content. Two of her favorite things to do are making connections for her colleagues and sharing great ideas. Currently, Debra is the Assistant Director of Educational Technology and Lower School Technology Coach working with teachers and students in Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth grade. She loves learning for learning's sake and regularly participates in online courses and reads whatever she can to stay current. Debra loves sharing tips, tricks, tools, and articles with her colleagues and other educators via Twitter, her blog, and her wiki.
