Educators will be introduced to PORTS* and discuss the exciting range of topics and themes covered by this amazing program. Throughout the presentation, educators will be able to discuss the ease and use of technology in the classroom, the flexibility and FREE resources to fit the needs of the classroom, plus a live interactive with a PORTS Interpretive Ranger in the field. Educators will be able to sign up for a program by the end of the session to get their own PORTS program scheduled for the upcoming school season.

*PORTS is a FREE distance learning program that uses the ease, technology, and power of interactive videoconferencing to assist K-12 schools teach common core state standards through the context of California State Parks. PORTS brings State Parks into classrooms using the high bandwidth of the K-12 High Speed Network (HSN) and multiple technological approaches.
